Remote Support

Our remote support software uses a secure 256-bit AES encryption for every session. It also requires consent from our customers before we are able take control of the machine. You can find the system requirements here

Time is billed only when we are connected to your computer. For example, if a virus removal involves performing a full system scan with antivirus software and it takes 4 hours to complete, our techs will start the scan then disconnect from the session. We will periodically reconnect to it to check if the scan is completed. Once the scan is completed we will perform additional work. If the total time it takes to remove a virus is 5 hours, 4 hours it was scanning and 1 hour our techs were connected to the session working on the computer, you will get billed for 1 hour.

Our Remote Support services include the following:
  • Virus Removal
  • Windows Computer Tune-up - delete temporary files, install OS updates, check the status of your antivirus software, get rid if unwanted programs
  • Setup and installation of software and some peripherals, for example setting up an email program to work with gmail, configuring a shared network folder, etc.
  • Anything else that can be accomplished remotely
Computer Assistance:
  • 1 on 1 computer help - Let us know what you need help with and we may be able to show you how to do it. You will need to tell us specifically what your needs are and we can schedule a time to help you. Some examples are posting pictures to facebook, creating a backup of pictures on a USB drive, using skype or how to video chat, etc

The price listed is our hourly rate, billed in 30 minute increments. Ask about our discounted Senior rates.
